Country superstar Miranda Lambert recently released a video for her song “Wranglers.”

The video, directed by Lambert’s longtime collaborator Trey Fanjoy, was filmed outside Austin, Texas. The hot visuals harken back to Lambert’s fiery breakthrough hit “Kerosene,” with the singer using a replica can of kerosene and the same book of matches from that song’s video for the “Wranglers” visual.

The video finds Lambert and pals consoling a friend in the aftermath of a breakup, with the group holding a ceremonial bonfire of the ex’s belongings and proving that, in fact, “Wranglers take forever to burn.”

Audra Mae, Evan McKeever and Ryan Carpenter wrote “Wranglers,” which Lambert says “is a classic tale of a woman taking her power back.”

“I think we can all identify with the character in this video because we have all had a time in our life where we needed to find our strength, and also get a little revenge on someone who did us wrong or hurt us. This offers such a cool, raging take on how something like this unravels; I am so proud to sing this song,” she adds.
