While Megan Moroney was celebrating her New Artist of the Year win at the 2024 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 20), haters on social media were making disparaging comments about her hair extensions. In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, someone watching the ceremony at home took issue with her hair coloring. “I swear the hairstylist brain never shuts off. Who matched her extensions???” the user wrote over a clip showing Moroney on TV accepting her award. “She’s golden on the top and ashy ends,” they captioned their post. Moroney apparently saw the video, and took time out while she was celebrating her CMA win to sarcastically comment, “Very nice of u!” on the clip. During the ceremony, Moroney gave an emotional performance of her breakout country hit, “Am I Okay?,” while dedicating her award to her supporters during her acceptance speech. “This is for my fans.
