A couple moths ago I was telling you about “Flippy”. He is a burger flipping robot at a restaurant in California. Humans place the burger patties on the grill before Flippy flips and prepares them. Flippy uses thermal imaging, 3D and a camera to sense when it’s time to flip each burger. SO COOL, right? Well, he is pricey. Flippy cost $60,000.00. UPDATE: The company that made him is Miso Robotics and they had to turn Flippy off. Why? Because he needed an upgrade, apparently he was “getting overwhelmed during peak times”!  They are giving him an upgrade so he can work faster…..Now if we could just REPROGRAM our teenagers to work more efficiently.
