Hank Jr was born to boogie and Jeff Lyon was born to broadcast.
Since the age of 16, Jeff has hung around radio stations begging to be heard. He grew up in Hopkinsville, KY listening to all the great Nashville radio legends in the 70’s and 80’s. “Having lived in and around the Nashville area all my life, I’ve known since I was a boy that this is the place that I want to be and raise my family.”
As a kid he always loved pretending to be one of his radio heroes. His parents always encouraged him to get a real job, but Jeff wouldn’t hear of it and continued to pursue his broadcasting dream and now it has landed him here with us at WSM.
